PNG Police Recruitment 2023 Name List Set for Release after Rigorous 6-Month Screening Process

After almost six months of intensive screening and interviews, the PNG police recruitment 2023 name list is set to be released after the 16th of June. The recruitment drive for 2023 has been a lengthy process, with interviews in Port Moresby already completed, and the screening and interviews for other centres scheduled to be completed by the 16th of June as planned.

The screening process for the police recruitment drive has been conducted in different regions of PNG according to the scheduled dates. The Highlands region screening process started on the 8th of May and will continue until the 16th of June. The Momase region’s screening process started on the 8th of May and is set to conclude on the 9th of June. The NGI (New Guinea Islands) region also started on the 8th of May and will end on the 9th of June. Milne Bay, Northern South-Fly, and North-Fly, in the Southern region, will have their screening process from the 8th of May to the 2nd of June.

It is a massive undertaking to recruit police personnel for the country, and this year’s recruitment drive has been no different. It has taken almost six months to recruit only 560 police personnel, which goes to show the rigorousness of the screening and interview process that the candidates have had to go through.
