The National Statistical Office (NSO) is calling on all passionate Papua New Guineans to join their team of Data Collectors for the upcoming 2024 National Population Census. As a Data Collector, also known as a Field Enumerator, you’ll be entrusted with the vital task of collecting essential demographic data within your designated local area (Ward/LLG) during June 2024.   • Education: Minimum Grade 10 qualification or higher
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and healthy with no vision impairment or speech disorders
  • Communication Skills: Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with community members.
  • Technical Skills: You should be comfortable using an Android phone or tablet to navigate the data collection app.
  • Financial Information: A valid existing bank account is required.
  • Experience (Bonus): Prior experience in data collection, particularly for censuses or surveys, is a valuable asset.
